Irene K. Harr
Irene K. Harr died September 16, 2007, at the age of 88.
Born in Dallas Township on May 7, 1919, she was the daughter of Joseph and Ida
(Feldpausch) Koenigsknecht and lived in Fowler all of her life. She was a member of Most
Holy Trinity Catholic Church and Christian Mother's Association. On October 28, 1940, she
married Melvin Harr and he preceded her in death on February 7, 1998.
Surviving are two daughters, Judy (Charlie) Armbrustmacher of Grand Ledge and Joyce
(Brian) Feldpausch of Fowler, two sons, Lloyd (Sandy) Harr of Webberville and Dennis
(Celine) Harr of Fowler, 10 grandchildren, and 17 great grandchildren. Irene also has one
sister, Veronica Pohl of Pewamo and one brother, Alfred Koenigsknecht of Fowler. In
addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by two grandsons, Brett Armbrustmacher
and Christopher Harr, three sisters, Frances Koenigsknecht, Anna Schmitt and Regina
Schmitt and two brothers, Anthony Koenigsknecht and Joseph Koenigsknecht.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at Most Holy
Trinity Catholic Church, burial at Holy Trinity Cemetery with Rev. Fr. Dennis Howard
officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Tuesday at the Goerge Chapel of
Osgood Funeral Homes, Fowler with a rosary prayed 3:00 and 8:00 Tuesday.
Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorials to the Alzheimers Association.
Jeanette Jan Gladden
Jeanette Jan Gladden died on Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the age of 72. She
was born on November 16, 1934, the daughter of Arnold and Clara (Schafer) Schomisch. She
was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church. Jan married William Gladden on April 30, 1960
in Lansing and he preceded her in death in 1996.
She is survived by her daughter, Teri (Daniel) Seperic of St. Johns, her grandchildren,
Abigail, Daniel and David Seperic, her brothers, Ronald (Margaret) Schomisch of Fowler and
Raymond (Jeanette) Schomisch of St. Johns, and her sister, Marcella Trierweiler of
Westphalia. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her son, William in
1990 and her sisters, Ambra Milbourne and Irene Schneider.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 9:30 a.m. Wednesday, September 19, 2007 at
St. Joseph Catholic Church with Rev. Fr. Eoin Murphy officiating. Burial will follow
immediately at Most Holy Trinity Cemetery, Fowler. The family will receive friends 2-4
p.m. and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at the Osgood Funeral Home, St. Johns. A vigil service will be held at
7 p.m. Tuesday. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorials to St. Judes
Childrens Hospital or for Memorial Masses.Lawrence E. Louth
Lawrence E. Louth, age
82, of Laingsburg, passed away on Friday, September 14, 2007 at his home. Lawrence was
born on April 6, 1925 in Ovid, to Christopher and Sadie (Sanderson) Louth. He attended the
Ovid schools and from there to the U.S. Navy where he served in WWII. On November 2, 1945
he married Marion Woodbury in Laingsburg and she predeceased him in 1999. Lawrence was
retired from Clark Engineering, he was a farmer, and co-owner of Louth Escavating. He was
a lifetime member of VFW in Corunna and a member of the Laingsburg American Legion.
He is survived by three children; Larry (Mary) Louth, Bob
(Vicki)Louth and Susan (Rick) Reed all of Laingsburg, four grandsons and eight great
grandchildren, sister-in-law Neva Louth of St. Johns, His dog Dolly and special friends
Betty Potter and Jane Sloat. He was predeceased by son-in-law Mark Slee and 11 brothers
and sisters.
Funeral Services will be held on Monday, September 17, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. at the Watkins
Brothers Funeral Home in Laingsburg with Rev. Eddie Lloyd officiating. Friends
will meet with the family on Saturday, from 6-8 P.M. and Sunday from 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. at
the funeral home. Burial will take place in the Graham Cemetery. Memorials can be made to
the American Diabetes adn the Arthritis Foundation.
Neva Bullard
Neva Bullard died Friday,
September 14, 2007 at the age of 98. She was born October 11, 1908 in Olive Township,
Clinton County, Michigan the daughter of Lewis and Belva (Coffman) Brown and lived all of
her life in Clinton County. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church, and the
United Methodist Women and enjoyed playing cards and traveling. She was a homemaker and
dental assistant. Neva married Leo Bullard on October 29, 1927 and he preceded her in
death on March 25, 1954. She was also predeceased by a son-in-law, Max Ballinger, one
infant grandson, Lynn Ballinger and two sisters, Glenna Plunkett and Gladys Bullard.
Surviving is one daughter, Onalee Ballinger; two grandsons,
Brent (Diane) and Jeff (Beverly) Ballinger all of St. Johns; six great grandchildren,
Tiffany, Max, Jeremy, and Jay Ballinger, Sara Heibeck and John Lemke; one great great
grandson Kade Heibeck.
Funeral services will be held 10:00 am Monday, September
17, 2007 at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns 989-224-4422 with Pastor
Lori Sykes officiating. Interment will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will
receive relatives and friends 6-8 pm Saturday and 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home.

age 88 of Lansing, Michigan died Thursday, September 13, 2007 at Sparrow Health Systems,
Lansing, Michigan.
Mass of Christian Burial will be held at St. Cyril's Catholic Church Bannister, MI on
Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 10:00 AM. Rev. Fr. Wolfgang Streichardt will officiate
with burial at Riverside Cemetery Elsie, Michigan. Visitation will be held on Friday,
September 14, 2007 from 4-8 P.M. Rosary will be prayed on Friday at 7:00 P.M.
Margaret was born in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan on January 27, 1919 the daughter of Henry and
Anna ( Bistricky ) Tomasik. Margaret married Paul F. Sipka on May 6, 1939 at St. Cyril'
Catholic Church, Bannister, MI. He died in 1997. She was a homemaker. She enjoyed her
family, baking, preserving, needlework, reading, and flowers. Margaret was a charter
member of St. Theres Catholic Church and transferred her membership to St. Cyril's
Catholic Church, Bannister, MI. and she was a member of the National Slovak Society for
more than 50 years.
She is survived by 1 son George Sipka of DeWitt, MI, 1 daughter Mary Anne & Carl
Rohwetter of St. Charles, MI, 2 grandsons, James & Kathy Rohwetter of St. Charles, MI,
John Rohwetter of St. Charles, MI, 1 great granddaughter Shelby Rohwetter of St. Charles,
MI, 1 sister: Ellen Tomasek of Owosso, MI, sister-in-law Anna Tomasik of Ovid, MI, and
many nieces & nephews. She is predeceased by her parents, husband, 1 brother Joseph,
and 1 sister Mary.

Manfred Patrick
Manfred Patrick died September 12, 2007, at the age of 86. He was born in Freeland,
Pennsylvania on December 15, 1920, the son of Daniel and Lydia (Kish) Patrick. He was a
retired inspector for General Motors and attended First Assembly of God in St. Johns.
Surviving is his wife, Carolyn Patrick of St. Johns, children, Ronald (Leia) Patrick of
Shepherdsville, KY, Suzanne (Kevin) Brake of Mars, PA, Timothy (Kimberly) Patrick of
Louisville, KY and Deborah Mitchell of St. Johns, 13 grandchildren, several nieces and
nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, sisters, Margaret Skurkis and Pearl
Minnick and brothers, Daniel and Peter Petrick.
Funeral services will be 2:30 P.M. Sunday, September 16, 2007 at the Osgood Funeral
Home, burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery with Pastor Wayne Houts officiating. The
family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Sympathy may be

Peter P. Ladiski
Peter P. Ladiski died on Wednesday, September 12,
2007, at the age 81. He was born in St. Johns on June 29, 1926, the son of Victor and
Augusta (Dogan) Ladiski. He served in in the Army during WWII as a paratrooper. He married
Betty Gardner on June 23, 1945 in Alabama and she survives him. Peter retired from Federal
Mogul in the early 1980s. He had a great passion for the Detroit Tigers, watching
them faithfully on T.V.
In addition to his wife, he is survived by his daughter, Carol (George) Bishop of DeWitt,
his son Richard (Diane) Ladiski of Oklahoma, grandchildren, Kimberly Schneider, William
(Miranda) Hitchens, Chad (Sherri) Hitchens, Matthew Hitchens, Sherri (Dusty) Hilterban,
Brett (Dawn) Ladiski, Shannon (Joe) Wallace, Michelle (Aaron) Applebee, and Zoi Ladiski,
great-grandchildren Jacob Schneider, Savannah, Jordan, Nicklas, and Brayden Hitchens, Kyle
and Cassie Wallace, Trystan and Allyx Hiltebran, and Sophia Applebee, his brothers, John
Ladiski, Frank (Jenny) Ladiski, and Paul (significant other, Doris) Ladiski all of Elsie,
and his sisters, Mary (significant other, Rudy) Cerny and Mildred (Frank) Chapko all of
Elsie. He was preceded in death by his parents and his sister, Betty Loznak-Maher.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 15, 2007 at 11 A.M. at Holy
Family Catholic Church, Ovid with Rev. Fr. Raymond Urbanek officiating. Burial will follow
immediately at Maple Grove Cemetery. The family will receive friends on Friday from 2-4
P.M. and 6-8 P.M. at the Houghton Chapel of Osgood Funeral Home, Ovid, MI. A rosary will
be prayed at 7 P.M. Friday. Sympathies may be expressed in the form of donations to Holy
