Thursday has been Kid’s Day at the Clinton County 4-H & Youth Fair for many years and the fun continues this year. Kids are invited to start the day between 10 am and 12 noon by participating in the Scavenger Hunt coordinated by the Clinton County Farm Bureau Young Farmers. Not only will kids have fun checking out the Fair and the many different exhibits, they’ll learn something about Clinton County agriculture along the way and earn prizes too. Next up is the always popular Ronald McDonald Show courtesy of McDonalds in St. Johns. Finally, the Pedal Tractor Pull sponsored by Thelen Ag Products, provides boys and girls between the aged of three and ten with an opportunity to test their skills and endurance in a pint sized tractor pull. Trophies and ribbons will be awarded in each of the age divisions. To participate in the Pedal Pull, youth must be registered by a parent or guardian between noon and 1:30 pm.

Of course you can round out the day by spending time in the Petting Tent, playing a couple of games in the Games Tent, having a pony ride, or enjoying cotton candy and a chocolate malt.
