Clinton County 4-H & Youth Fair Help to tell the story Theres a lot more to the history of the Clinton County 4-H & Youth Fair than the timeline of building construction, files of award winners, records of community donors and annual exhibitor participation counts. While all of that is important, its the stories of what the Fair has meant to individual families that really gives the history life. The Fair Board Historical Committee is relatively new and theyve done a good job gathering the facts to compile the foundation for the official Fair history. Now they need your help. Theyre reaching out to the community and asking for individuals to share their memories and to fill in the personal spaces in the 71 year history of the Clinton County 4-H & Youth Fair. What do you think about when you reflect on your experiences at the Fair as an exhibitor, a leader, a visitor? This isnt just a rhetorical question. The Fair Board is really interested in hearing about the stories that make up the history of the fair and they would love to hear yours. Whats your fondest memory? Funniest memory? Greatest experience? Favorite project? Biggest accomplishment? Do you remember helping on the construction of a building or watching it go up? Jot down your story and drop it off at the Fair Office during the Fair or mail it to the Fair Board at 100 East State Street, Suite G100, St. Johns, MI 48879. We want to hear your story. Please share.
