Larry L. PewoskiLarry L. Pewoski died April 5, 2000 at the age of 51. He was born March 5, 1949 in St. Johns, Michigan the son of Stanley and Helen (Suchek) Pewoski. He was a member of U.A.W. Local #1618 having been a material handler for General Motors for 33 years. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing. He is survived by his mother, Helen (Earl) Michaud and one brother, Stanley (Karon) Pewoski of Dimondale, nephew, Jon (Michelle) Pewoski of Hastings, nieces, Cindy Pewoski of Drummond Island and Kristen Pewoski of Dimondale, two great nephews, Michael and Nathan Pewoski, aunts/uncles, Henry (Marietta) Pewoski, Cecelia (Henry) Skopek, William McCoy, and Edna Pewoski, many cousins, and friend, Linda Powers and special friend, Vicki Story. Larry was preceded in death by his father, Stanley Pewoski and a nephew, Matthew Pewoski. A Memorial Service will be 1:00 P.M. Monday, April 10, 2000 at the Osgood Funeral Home
in St. Johns with Jim Gleason officiating. The family will receive friends 5:00-7:00
P.M. Sunday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hospice House of Mid-Michigan or
the American Cancer Society. Vera L. MankeyVera L. Mankey, age 100, died April 3, 2000. She was born January 4, 1900 in Wacousta, MI, the daughter of Charles and Emma (Rosen) Lemm. Vera married Charles Mankey on April 7, 1943 in St. Johns and he preceded her in death on September 8, 1989. Vera is survived by two nephews, Rollin Lemm of California and Halwyn Lemm of Holt, many friends, and special caregiver, Ruth Lee. Funeral services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, April 6, 2000 at the Osgood Funeral Home, burial at Wacousta Cemetery with Rev. Steve Weinberger officiating. The family will receive friends 6-8 P.M. Tuesday and 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Clinton County Home Health or the Capital Area Humane Society. Nella Mae Davis, 98, of Elsie, passed away March 31, 2000. She was a homemaker. Funeral services were April 3 at Smith Funeral Home, Elsie.
Burdena M. (Deno) Greer of Traverse City, passed away March 27, 2000. She lived in the Bridgeville area most of her life,retiring to Traverse City 16 years ago. She is survived by her husband, Francis (Joe); son, Doug (Barb) Greer of Perrinton; daughter Marcia, (Jim) Lyon of St. Johns; three grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Services were held April 1 at the Reynolds-Jonkkoff Funeral Home in Traverse City. |
