Loretta E. Vincent, 84, died Saturday, August 11, 2001 at Durand Convalescent Center. Born December 17, 1916 in New Haven Township, the daughter of Hartley Burell and Eldred Jean (Bricker) Donahue. Mrs. Vincent was a homemaker. On October 8, 1940 she and Gerald C. Vincent were married at Easton Church. Surviving are her husband of 60 years, Gerald, two sons, Kenneth (Kathy) Vincent of Ovid and Earl (Noreen) Vincent of Elsie, three daughters, Jean (Kenneth) Durham of Ovid, Grace Kares of Laingsburg and Shirley (Robert) Walker of Evanston, WY, sixteen grandchildren, ten step grandchildren, thirty great grandchildren, one brother, Wellington Donahue of Owosso, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Vincent was predeceased by one son, one son-in-law, two grandchildren, her parents and three brothers. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at the
Houghton Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes, Ovid, burial at Maple Grove Cemetery with
Rev. Robert Magee officiating. Friends may call 6-8 P.M. Monday and 2-4 and 6-8
P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the family. Robert E. Mitten died August 11, 2001 at the age of 59. He was born in Elyria, OH on June 12, 1942, the son of Kenneth and Doris (Crabill) Mitten. He was a Kroger store manager for 34 years. Robert married Sally Lewis on September 26, 1994 and she survives him. Also surviving are his children, Michele (Michael) McDaniel of NC, Mike (Leigh) Mitten of Lawrenceville, GA, Mark (Heather) Mitten of Marysville, OH, D. Angela (Robert) Anderson of DeWitt, Susan (Mitch) Deminski of New Albany, OH, and Jason Hufnagel of St. Johns, twelve grandchildren, his father, Kenneth Mitten of Bascom, OH, and two sisters, Jan (Robert) Fruth of Lexington, KY and Kay (Roy) VanBeneren of Bascom, OH. He was preceded in death by his mother. Funeral services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, August 15, 2001 at the Osgood Funeral Home. The family will receive friends 7-9 P.M. Monday and 2-4 and 7-9 P.M. Tuesday at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society. |
