Daisy KrugerDaisy L. Kruger, 96, of St. Johns, went home to be with her Lord Dec. 2, 1998. She was born Feb. 20, 1902, in Carrington, N.D., the daughter of Ira and Lillie (Fritz) Fritz.She was a homemaker and a farmer's wife. She was active in her church in DeWitt, was a Sunday School teacher for many years, and was a member of the Ladies Missionary Group. She raised a number of foster children in her home. She was an active member of the First Baptist Church of St. Johns.She married Emmet Kruger Jan. 16, 1919, in Logansport, Ind. He preceded her in death in April 1971.Surviving are five daughters, Doris (Lewis) Fritz of Francesville, Ind., Louise (Harry) Hunnicutt of DeWitt, Carolyn (Robert) Fritz of Winamac, Ind., Alvera (Maurice) Rodman of DeWitt, and Marilyn (Bob) Curtis of St. Johns; three sons, Verlen (Jenny) Kruger of Lansing, Lawrence (Delores) Kruger of DeWitt, and Donald (Lila) Kruger of St. Johns; 42 grandchildren, 103 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Leland; three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren; three sisters; and one brother.The funeral service was held Dec. 5 at the First Baptist Church with Pastor Timothy Knaus officiating. Burial was at Deepdale Cemetery, Lansing. Memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, or Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor. The funeral service was held Dec. 5 at the Osgood Funeral Home, St. Johns. .Delbert AymorDelbert J. Aymor, 72, of Ovid, died Nov. 30, 1998. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the Marines. The funeral service was held Dec. 3 at the Houghton Chapel of the Osgood Funeral Homes, Ovid, with the Rev. Robert Pumfrey officiating. Burial was at Hillcrest Cemetery.
