Kathie Bridget Hustin was born in Birch Run, Michigan on Sep. 23, 1936. She died on Jun. 7, 2004 and resided in Elsie, MI. Funeral services will be held on Friday Jun. 11, 2004 with visitation on Wednesday Jun. 9, 2004 & Thursday Jun. 10, 2004 Burial will be at Riverside Cemetery in Elsie.
V. Harriet Schmid died June 7, 2004 at the age of 94. Born February 20, 1910 in Gratiot County, Michigan, the daughter of Robert and Edith (Knight) Danley. Harriet was a member of Salem United Methodist Church and was their former pianist. She is survived by her son, Henry (Dorothy) Schmid, Jr. of St. Johns, daughter, Linda (Roger) Summey of Blanchard, daughter in law, Carleen Schmid, twenty-one grandchildren, thirty-five great grandchildren and twelve great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by husband, Henry S. Schmid, two sons, Larry Schmid and Roland Schmid, two grandsons, Scott Schmid and Larry Summey, sister, Thelma Woodbury and sister-in-law, Florence Langdon. Funeral Services will be 1:00 P.M. Friday, June 11, 2004 at Salem United Methodist Church, burial at Union Home Cemetery with Pastor Jim Dibbet officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Wednesday and Thursday at the Osgood Funeral Home. Memorials may be made in her name to Salem United Methodist Church. Judge Timothy Michael Patrick Green, age 83, of Estes Park, Colorado, formerly of St. Johns Michigan, entered his heavenly home May 11, 2004. Friends are invited to the Internment Service at the St. Johns Mt. Rest Cemetery, Thursday, June 10, 2004 at 11:00 AM. An Irish, open-house luncheon celebration will follow at Ye Ol Roadhouse, 901 State Street, St. Johns. Maxine Ione Beachum died June 6, 2004 at the age of 71. Born in Hart, Michigan on June 9, 1932, she was the daughter of William and Alfreda Ione (Arnold) Lambrix. Maxine and her husband, Earl, owned and operated the Twin Oaks Golf Course in St. Johns. She enjoyed playing cards, watching the Greenbay Packers, being with her family and spending time at their winter home in Florida. Maxine married Earl Beachum in Hart on June 11, 1949 and he survives her. Also surviving are her children, Thomas (Tracy) Beachum, Lisa Broemer, Leon Beachum and Sheila (Jerry) Belligan, grandchildren, Brett (Michelle) Beachum, Angela (Alan) Lound, JoAnna (Patrick) Lewis, Michael and Mark Belligan, Anthony, Chelsea and Kalie Broemer, Jennifer Salinas; and her sister, Louise Hegg. She was preceded in death by her parents, Alfreda (Arnold) and William Lambrix, sister, Jean Martin and brothers, Arnold and Vern Lambrix. Memorial services will be 1:00 P.M. Thursday, June 10, 2004 at the Osgood Funeral Home with the family receiving friends one hour prior to the service. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorials to Sparrow Home Hospice or the American Cancer Society. Frank George Niznak age 83 of Ashley, Michigan died Friday, June 4, 2004 at Sparrow Hospital in Lansing, Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will be held Wednesday June 9, 2004 at 10:00 A.M. at St. Cyril's Catholic Church, Bannister, Michgian. Rev. Fr. Joseph Baker will officate and visitation will be held Tuesday June 8, 2004 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 & 6-8 P.M. at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel. Betty Agnes Okenka in Swartz Creek, Michigan in October of 1954. He was a farmer and he
also worked as a welder for Motor Wheel. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. He was a
member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Bannister. He resided most of his life in Ashley,

Louis married Marilyn Fabus at St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Bannister, Michigan on September 14, 1968. He retired from Toledo Commutator in 2004 after 45 years of service. He loved to travel, fish, hunt, and work in his garden. He was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church and the First Catholic Slovak Union. He resided most of his life in Henderson, Oakley & Elsie, Michigan. He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Kuchar of Elsie, MI, 2 sons, Tom Kuchar of Elsie, MI, Brian Kuchar of Elsie, MI, his mother, Bertha Kuchar of Henderson, MI, brother John & Elaine Kuchar of Henderson, MI, mother-in-law Mary Fabus of Elsie, MI, brothers & sisters-in-law, Fred & Carol Nixon of Bannister, MI, Dan & Andrea Clark of St. Johns, MI, and many nieces and nephews. Wanda was born on January 1, 1928 in Eureka, Michigan, the daughter of Burton & Marion ( Landis ) Aldrich. She married Ronald Fox in Ovid, Michigan on September 1, 1945. She worked at the Ovid IGA for 26 years. She enjoyed family gatherings, golfing, bowling, bird watching, crocheting, and crossword puzzles. She was a member of Shepardsville United Methodist Church in Ovid, Michigan. Wanda resided most of her life in Ovid, Michigan. She is survived by her husband Ronald Fox of Ovid, MI, 3 sons, Douglas & Carol Fox of Elsie, MI, Donald & Sharon Fox, of Roseville, CA, David & Joy Fox of Ovid, MI, 10 grandchildren & 8 great grandchildren whom she loved dearly, 1 sister Norma Loynes of Henderson, MI, 2 brothers, Art & Bertha Aldrich, Elsie, MI, Bill & Betty Aldrich of Ovid, MI, and many nieces and nephews. Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel. Robert S. Heibeck died June 1, 2004 at the age of 90. Born in St. Johns on November 2, 1913, he was the son of William and Mable (Hicks) Heibeck and lived in St. Johns before moving to Florida. He was affiliated with the United Methodist Church and retired from Farm Bureau Services. Robert married Hazel Rademacher on March 3, 1940 and she preceded him in death on March 1, 2003. Also surviving are one son, Richard (Lynn) Heibeck of Spring Hill, Florida, one daughter, Marilyn (Ron) Coons of Good Hope, Illinois, five grandchildren, Richard Heibeck, Jr. of Hudson, FL, Judy (George) Gurganus of Spring Hill, FL, Tom (Melissa) Groesbeck, Jr., Deborah Schulze both of New Port Richey, FL and Susan (Todd) Miller of Fowler, six great grandchildren, Jeffrey, Kristi, Melissa, Scott, Jeremy and Jordan. Robert also has two sisters, Frances Halitsky of Indian River & Katherine (Robert) Peck of St. Johns and two brothers, Lawrence Heibeck and Ronald (Bonnie) Heibeck, all of St. Johns. In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by one sister, Beatrice Heibeck and two brothers, Conrad and Kenneth Heibeck. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Monday, June 7, 2004 at the Osgood Funeral Home, St. Johns, burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery with the Rev. Kay Pratt officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday at the funeral home.
