Shirley M. Clark Shirley M. Clark age 89 of St. Johns, Michigan died November 27, 2006. She was born June 8, 1917 in Thomasboro, Illinois. She had graduated from Eastern High School with the class of 1936. Shirley lived in Lansing and Perry before retiring to Bradenton, Florida in 1984. She was preceded in death by her husband of 63 years, Charles Clark in 2000, daughter Carol Jean, 3 sisters, 2 brothers, a grandson and a granddaughter. Surviving her are 2 daughters; Patricia and Frank Deemer of DeWitt, MI, Margaret Peg and Bill Foreman of Plant City, FL, 1 son Charles Jim and Edna Clark of Bradenton, FL., 2 sisters Naomi Mahoney of Marion, IN, and Phyllis Sullivan of Flushing, MI., grandchildren, great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, December 2, 2006 at 11:00 a.m. at the Lansing South Church of the Nazarene, 401 W. Holmes Road, Lansing, MI. Family will receive friends for ½ hour prior to the service. Rev. Harold DeMott and Rev. Timothy Cockcroft will officiate. In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Hazel Findlay Country Manor, 1101 S. Scott Road, St. Johns, MI 48879. Special thanks to the staff of Hazel Findlay Country Manor for their loving care and making the last months for Shirley so special and to Pastor Tim Cockroft of St. Johns Nazarene Church for his many encouraging visits and prayers. Richard William Kingsbury age 78 of St. Johns, Michigan died on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at Sparrow Health Systems in Lansing, Michigan. Funeral services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns, Michigan on Tuesday, November 28, 2006 at 11:00 A.M. Rev. ORyan Rickard and Mrs. Kathy Leydorf will officiate and visitation will be Monday, November 27, 2006 from 2-8 P.M. with family present 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Richard was born May, 29, 1928 in St. Johns, Michigan the son of Percy and Augusta (Chantler) Kingsbury and he resided most of his life in St. Johns, Michigan. He was a graduate of St. Johns High School with the class of 1946. On April 17, 1954 he married Mary J. Whitlock in St. Johns, Michigan. Richard was the founder and former owner and operator of Kingsbury Masonry in St. Johns, Michigan. He was a member of Lowe United Methodist Church where he served many offices in the church, he served in the U.S. Army in the Korean War, and was a lifetime member of Sleepy Hollow Conservation Club, Coached Little League Baseball, he also played a lot of Class A Fast Pitch Softball and Hockey. He also played for a semi-pro football league team in Ionia, Michigan for 2 years. He loved outdoor sports, hunting, fishing, archery shooting, and he was an avid U of M fan. Survivors include his wife Mary J. Kingsbury of St. Johns, Michigan, 3 sons, Mark and Louella Kingsbury St. Johns, Michigan, Ron and Stephanie Kingsbury of St. Johns, Michigan, David and Heather Kingsbury of St. Johns, Michigan, 8 grandchildren, he was predeceased by his parents, one sister; Elizabeth Phillips, one brother; John Kingsbury. Memorial may be made to the Parkinson Foundation or Lowe United Methodist Church. The family is being served by Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Johns, Michigan. Gladys S. Herrle died November 25, 2006, at the age of 76. She was born in Bronx, NY on January 27, 1930, the daughter of Louis and Hedwig (Gronert) Schlehlein. She was a retired Special Education Teacher from the Bloomfield Hills Public Schools and a supporter of the ARC of Oakland County. Gladys married Richard Herrle in Brooklyn, NY on January 26, 1952 and he survives her. In addition to Richard, Gladys is survived by her three children, Richard Herrle, Jr. of Florida, Donna (Jerry Winans) Herrle of St. Johns, and Robert Herrle of Florida, and her grandchildren, Danielle Herrle of Troy, MI and Hunter Herrle Jordan, of St. Johns. She was preceded in death by her parents and her daughter Tara Marie Herrle. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10 A.M. Wednesday, November 29, 2006 at Gate of Heaven Cemetery Chapel, Valhalla, NY, with burial immediately following, with Rev. Fr. Joseph Martin officiating. The family will receive friends 4 - 6 PM Monday, November 27, 2006 Osgood Funeral Homes, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, MI, refreshments will be served. A celebration service follows at 6 PM. Stehlik age 70 of Bannister, Michigan died Wednesday, November 22, 2006 at his home. Verena C. Rademacher of Westphalia, MI passed away November 21, 2006. She was born on June 16, 1922, in Dallas Township the daughter of William and Louis M. (Luttig) Smith. Verena married Elmer H. Rademacher on May 26, 1943 in Westphalia. She was a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Christian Mothers Society and the Catholic Order of Foresters. Verena was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Elmer, in 2005; son, Gary Rademacher; daughter, Beverly Holland; great-granddaughter, Kaitlin Paul; brothers, Aloysius, Isidore and Celestine Smith; and sister Eleanore Simon. Verena is survived by her sons, Joseph (Laura) Rademacher, John Rademacher, Thomas (Ann) Rademacher and Roy (Laure) Rademacher; daughter, Mary T. (Jim) Morgan; daughter-in-law, Mary Rademacher; son-in-law, Jim (Cindy) Holland; 21 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; sisters, Dorothy Lenneman, Marion Thelen, Leona Leik, Loretta Thelen; and brother, Paul (Rita) Smith. Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated by Msgr. Sylvester Fedewa at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, 2006 at St. Mary's Catholic Church, Westphalia. Rite of Committal will be held in St. Mary's Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 7-9 p.m. on Thursday and 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. on Friday at the St. Mary's Funeral Chapel, 210 N.
