Clarence Huffman Clarence Huffman age 65 of St. Louis, Michigan formerly of St. Johns, Michigan, died on Saturday, December 16, 2006 at Gratiot Medical Center, Alma, Michigan. Mass of Christian Burial will take place at Mount St. Joseph Catholic Church, St. Louis on Tuesday, December 19, 2006 at 10 am. Visitation will be Sunday evening 6-8 P.M. and Monday 2-4 and 6-8 P. M. with a Knights of Columbus Rosary being prayed at 5:00 P.M. on Monday evening at Smith Family Funeral Homes, St. Louis Chapel. Rev. Fr. Kevin Maksym will officiate and burial will take place at Mt. Rest Cemetery, St. Johns, Michigan. Clarence was born in Marion, Indiana on August 4, 1941 the son of Clarence Charles and Rose Marie (Edwards) Huffman Sr. He he attended school in California and on November 2, 1962 he married Judy Hussong in Marion Indiana. Clarence worked as an auto mechanic for several years at Tuffy Auto Services in Owosso and Keelean Buick in St. Johns, Michigan. Clarence was a 3rd and 4th Degree member of the Knights of Columbus and a proud special deputy volunteer of the Ingham County Sheriffs Department. He loved his grandchildren and his dog Rosie; he loved hunting, fishing and golfing and spending time with his family. He served in the U.S. Navy and was a member of the D.A.V. Survivors include his wife, Judy Huffman of St. Louis, Michigan, 4 children, Edward Huffman of Middleton, Michigan, Michael and Cathy Huffman of Bel Air, Michigan, Timothy and Michelle Huffman of Maple Rapids, Michigan, Jennie and Martin Smith of Alma, Michigan, 8 grandchildren, Edward, Judy, Amanda, Carilynn, Timmy, Brandon, Christopher, Sierra, 4 sisters and 6 brothers, and his dog Rosie. He was predeceased by his parents, 1 son Clarence Charles Huffman III, 1 sister. Memorials may be made to the family. The family is

Bernath age 87 of Bannister, Michigan died Sunday, December 17, 2006 at Hospice House of
Mid-Michigan in Lansing, Michigan. Joseph was born February 28, 1919 in Chicago Heights, Illinois the son of Andro and Katerina (Duzek) Bernath. He resided most of his life in the Bannister area. He married Irene M. Minarik on July 4, 1947 at St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Bannister, Michigan. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. He was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church in Bannister, Michigan. He was a member of St. Cyril's Catholic Church Mens Club and Ushers Club, American Legion Post #502, he served in the U.S. Army in WWII. He loved fishing, hunting, playing the accordion and he enjoyed Polka music. He is survived by his wife Irene M. Bernath, son David and Sherri Bernath of Bath, Michigan, grandson Noah Bernath of Traverse City, Michigan, brother Frank and Mary Bernath, and he is also survived by many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his parents, 2 sisters; Anna Kopchitz, Josie Oberlin, 3 brothers; Nicholas, Steve and Andrew Bernath. Buleah B. Krepps in Brock, Saskatchewan, Canada on August 19, 1915 to William and Minnie
(Russell) Krepps. She was raised as Betty Jane Ross from early childhood by foster parents
Mr. and Mrs. G.M. Ross of St Johns, MI and Pittsburgh, PA. She was preceded in death by
her first husband Chester V. Gwyer of NC and her second husband Leo C. Fox of Mesa, AZ,
previously of St. Johns, MI. Donna Mae

at Ovid Healthcare Center. She was born on March 12, 1905 in Falmouth, MI the daughter of
Henry and Wilhemina (VanDenboogert) Spykerman. Helen was a homemaker and had worked at
Ovid Gamble Store for several She is urvived by her brother Ray Spykerman of Arizona, a Great Nephew Robert Hodges of Saginaw, a Great Niece Ruth Hodges of Salt Lake City, Utah. Funeral services will be held at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home
