Mary Marie Redman Mary Marie Redman, 90 died August 27, 2007 at Hazel Findlay Country Manor. She was born Feb. 12, 1917 in Eureka, MI the daughter of Harry and Minnie (Klean) Wiley and lived in Clinton County most of her life. She resided near Rochester Colony in her younger life. She graduated from Ovid High School in 1934 and St. Lawrence School of Nursing in 1938. Marie worked at Clinton Memorial Hospital for many years and also Mid-Michigan District Health Dept. She was a member of First United Methodist Church, Maple River Grande, Farm Bureau, Urbanites Extension Club, American Red Cross, 4H leader for 20 years and volunteered to make puppets at Clinton Memorial Hospital. Her social clubs included both the Pinochle Club and the Bridge Club. Her marriage of 57 years to Merle Redman on Nov. 4, 1930 ended with his death Feb. 5, 1997. She is survived by her son, Porter and Linda Redman of St. Johns, daughters, Lois Lauro of Corunna and Linda and Eugene Noble of Milford and 8 grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home on Friday, Aug. 31, 2007 at 2:00 P.M. with Pastor Cayle Beagle officiating. Burial will follow at Mt. Rest Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday and Thursday, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. Memorials may be given to Clinton Memorial Hospital, St. Johns Senior Center, First United Methodist Church or Hazel Findlay Country Manor. Brandy Lynn Presson age 23 of Elsie, Michigan died

Sunday, August 26, 2007 at at her home after a 27 year battle with heart disease. Dr. William W. Jordan, D.O. formerly of Fowler, age 77, passed away Sunday, August 26, 2007 at his home. Visitation will be held on Tuesday, August 28, 2007 from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at the Christian Funeral Home in Cheboygan. The funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, August 29, 2007 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary/St. Charles Catholic Church in Cheboygan. Please call the funeral home if you would like more information (231) 627-9987. Marci Lynn (Walter) Draper, 40 died Aug. 26, 2007 following a long illness with Juvenile Diabetes. Marci was born October 9, 1966 in Lansing, MI the daughter of Robert and Shirley (Hogle) Walter. She graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School in 1984. Marci had worked at ITT Hancock and D.O.C. in Detroit until forced to retire. She was a member of the Red Hat Chicks of Ovid and enjoyed car races and going to the casino. She is survived by her parents, Robert and Shirley Walter of Ovid, sister Karmen Walter of Warren, MI, grandparents Lawrence and Margaret Walter of Ovid and her dog, Chelsea. She was preceded in death by grandparents, Ralph Hogle and Virginia and Arthur Johnson. Funeral services will be held at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home 989-224-4422 on Thursday, Aug. 30, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Pastor Kathy Leydorf officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Hill Cemetery, Lansing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday evening from 6 P.M. to 9 P.M. Memorials may be given to Juvenile Diabetes Association, 120 Wall St., 19th Floor, New York, NY 10005. Arthur J. (Bill) Kelley Jr. died Wednesday, August 22, 2007 at the age of 84. He was born December 17, 1922 in Ovid, MI the son of Arthur J. and Hilda (Groom) Kelley and lived most of his life in the Ovid area. Bill was a member of the Middlebury United Methodist Church, a WWII Navy Veteran and member of the Ovid V.F.W. Post # 8964. He was a lifelong farmer and enjoyed hunting, fishing and spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Bill married Margaret Mulder in June of 1940 and she preceded him in death in 1971. He also was predeceased by his parents and one brother, Jack. He married Katherine Perien Huss in February of 1973 and she survives him. Also surviving are his children, Arthur (Butch) and Karen Kelley, Janet Magsig and friend Robert Taylor, Carol and Leigh (Pete) Darling all of Ovid, Adrian Huss of St. Johns, Marie and Raymond II (Butch) Mohre of Lansing, Linda and Rod McCreery and Albert Huss all of Ovid; 21 grandchildren; 29 great grandchildren; one great great grandson and one sister, Jean White of Trenton, MI. Funeral services will be held 1:00 pm Saturday, August 25,
2007 at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, St. Johns 989-224-4422 with Pastor
Carl Cooke officiating. Interment will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery in Ovid. The family
will receive relatives and friends 6-8 pm Thursday and 2-4 and 6-8 pm Friday at the
