Gary Kolasinski Gary Kolasinski, 53, of Baker City and formerly of La Grande and
Enterprise, died August 24, 2007 at St. Elizabeth Health Services. Lillian Griffith She is survived by her son, Edward (Carol) Griffith of Arkansas, two daughters, Joan (Dale) Ososkie of Cadillac and Carol (Greg) Bauer of Grand Ledge, thirteen grandchildren, and fourteen great grandchildren and one great great grandson. She also has two sisters, Caroline Kelly of Florida and Jeanette Bacigal of St. Claire Shores, MI. In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by her sons, Donald Griffith and Ken Griffith and one brother, Ed Holecheck. Funeral Services will be 11:00 A.M. Wednesday September 12, 2007 at the Osgood Funeral Home, burial at Mt. Rest Cemetery with Rev. Jeffrey Heimsoth officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 Tuesday September 11 at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to Hazel I. Findlay Country Manor. Bonnie Lou Forbes Bonnie Lou Forbes died September 9, 2007 at the age of 53. Born November 11, 1953 in Lansing the daughter of Hiram and Mary Lou (Vance) Sage. She was a member of St. Johns Lutheran Church. Bonnie is survived by her husband, John Teems of St. Johns, son, Eugene Fraser Jr., of Lansing, her parents, Bud and Helen Sage of St. Johns, sister, LuAnn (Lyle) Visser, brother, Roger (Leona) Hansen and many neices and nephews. Preceding in death are sisters, Karla Bishop and Sherry Pitts, mother, Mary Lou Sage and brother, Gary Sage. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 P.M., Thursday, September 13, 2007 at the Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, with Pastor George Brinley officiating. The family will receive friends at the funeral home prior to the service from Noon until 2:00 P.M. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of contributions to the family or to the St. Johns Lutheran Church. Wilma G. Shannon, age 90,
of Elsie, passed away Wednesday, Sept. 5, 2007, at her home. Lynda Marie (Rice) Hardy
died September 4, 2007 at the age of 53. She was born October 23, 1953 in Lansing, MI, the
daughter of Robert and Phyllis (Swagart) Rice. She was a member of Plymouth Congregational
Church, a former member of the Lansing Junior Symphony and worked as a Nurses Aide. Lynda
married Charles Hardy in Lansing, MI, and he survives her. Wilma A. Ingalls (nee Bell) was called home to heaven by her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on September 3, 2007. Born November 10, 1932, on a farm in rural Mulliken, MI, to Lyle Cecil and Zoe Evelyn (Coats) Bell, Wilma attended grade school at the Nickel School and later Grand Ledge Public Schools. On June 21, 1952, she married Duane Keith Ingalls, her high school sweetheart. Later in life she came to know the grace of Jesus Christ. In April 1961, Wilma became a child of God through Holy Baptism at St. Peter Lutheran Church, St. Johns (Riley). That same day, she and Keith were confirmed in the church - vowing to be faithful until death to their Savior. Out of love and gratitude for all God had done for her, she and Keith became very active at St. Peter Lutheran Church. Wilma served in many areas including Sunday school teacher, co-leader of the high school youth group with Keith, folk/contemporary worship, and Evangelism. Wilma also enjoyed creative writing. She authored many poems and in later years, short stories. In the 1970s she also compiled the book "Through the Years with Your Association" for the 50th Anniversary of the Michigan Well Drillers Association. She retired from Auto Owners Insurance in July 2006. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Duane Keith Ingalls, her mother and her father. She is survived by her daughter, Lisa Jensen of Illinois, son-in-law, David Jensen; grandchildren, Daniel, Michelle and Nicole; brother, Darrell Bell of Sunfield; and sister, Wanda Green of Portland. Her family is eternally grateful for the legacy of faith, which was begun in her and passed on to her family. To God All Praise and Glory! Funeral services will be held Monday, September 10, at 10
a.m. at Shepherd of the Hills Evangelical Church, 7740 W. St. Joseph Highway, Lansing.
Interment will follow in Wacousta Cemetery, Wacousta. The family will receive friends at
the Gorsline-Runciman Funeral Homes, 205 E. Washington St., DeWitt, on Sunday from 2-6
p.m. and at the church on Monday 1-hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers,
memorials may be given to The Lutheran Hour or The Breast Cancer Research Foundation in
memory of Wilma Ingalls. |
