 Jo Ann Greer, 62 died
Sunday, Dec. 23, 2007. Jo Ann was born December 6, 1945 in Lansing, MI the daughter of
Franklin & Betty (Clark) Blackledge. She graduated from St. Johns High School and had
worked at Federal Mogul and retired in 2004. Jo Ann was a member of St. Joseph Catholic
Church, and enjoyed her grandchildren, family and friends.
She is survived by daughter Toni Greer of St. Johns and son
Scott (Susie) Greer of Pewamo andgrandchildren, Zach, Drew and Cole Greer. She was
preceded in death by brother Frank Blackledge and sister Rose Blackledge.
Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic
Church, St. Johns on Thursday, Dec. 27, 2007 at 11:00 A.M. with Rev. Fr. Ken McDonald
officiating. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Pewamo, MI. The family will
receive friends at Keck-Coleman Funeral Home, 989-224-4422 on Wednesday, Dec. 26,
2007, 2-4 and 6-8 P.M. A Rosary will be prayed at 8:00 P.M.

67 of East Lansing, died at Mid-Michigan Hospice on Friday, Dec. 21, 2007.
He is survived by his wife, Patty; four sons, Michael of California, Brian of North
Carolina, Christopher of Arizona and Matthew of New Hampshire; one grandson; sisters,
Madeline Hoppe of Onaway, Margaret Fox of Ann Arbor, and Rose McCollister of Leawood,
Kan.; brothers, Leo of Kalkaska, Mark of Encinitas, Calif., Stanley of Fort Wayne, Ind.,
and Daniel Hoppe of Holt; and many nieces and nephews.
Arrangements were handled by Gorsline-Runciman, East Lansing. Private services will be
held at a later date.

58 of Bannister, Michigan died Wednesday, December 19, 2007 at her home.
Funeral Services will be held at Smith Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel Elsie, MI on
Saturday, December 22, 2007 at 11:00 AM. will officiate with burial at Ridge Road Cemetery
Brady Township, Michigan. Visitation will be held Friday, December 21, 2007 from 3-8 P.M.
Lynn was born in Owosso, Michigan on June 1, 1949 the daughter of Leon Edward and Melva
Rosetta ( Lamrouex ) Swan. She resided most of her life in Elsie, Michigan and attended
Chesaning and Brady Schools. Lynn married Randall Scherzer on December 19, 1965 in Oakley,
Michigan. She was a homemaker. Her grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life.
Lynn loved flowers, going to old car shows and tractor shows, and she enjoyed arts and
crafts.
She is survived by her husband of 42 years Randall Scherzer of Bannister, MI, children;
Scott Scherzer and Pam Mahin of Blanchard, MI, Kimberly and John Seta of Chesaning, MI,
Tina and Richard Swarthout of Ashley, MI, Kathy Hogsett and Stacy Conklin of Bannister,
MI, 16 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, brother Leon Swan, and 5 sisters; Carol and
Don Cooper, Sharon Blunt, Shirley and Terry Stevens, Karen Theile, and Barb Banta. She is
predeceased by her parents.
Memorials may be made to the family. The family is being served by Smith
Family Funeral Homes, Elsie Chapel.
