William Winsor
William Winsor died March 19, 2010 at the age of 68. Born in Gratiot County, Michigan on January 13, 1942, the son of Gerald C. and Eulene V. (Leslie) Winsor. He was a retired civil engineer technician with the Michigan Department of Transportation, a member of Maple Rapids Congregational Christian Church, enjoyed his family, hunting and fishing. William married Victoria Fitzpatrick on August 4, 1961 in Stanton, Michigan.
Along with his wife, William is survived by his daughters, Pamela Winsor, Mary Catherine (Daniel) Smith and Andrea (Mark) Babbitt; his sons, Gregory (Diana) Winsor and Matthew (Angela) Winsor; 13 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. William is also survived by his 3 sisters, Geraldine (Kenneth) Gager, Marilyn (Kenneth) Bentley and Leola (Roger) LaShombe; 3 brothers, Carl (June) Winsor, Glen (Carolyn) Winsor and Lauren (Beverly) Winsor; sister-in-law, Marilyn (Chuck) Gallagher, and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Duane Winsor.
Memorial services will be held 2 p.m., Saturday, March 27, 2010 at the Maple Rapids Congregational Christian Church with Pastor Jerry Kissling officiating. The family will receive friends 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. on Tuesday, March 23 at the Abbott Chapel of Osgood Funeral Homes, 509 E. Main St., Maple Rapids, MI. Sympathy may be expressed in the form of memorial contributions to Maple Rapids Congregational Christian Church, 410 S. Maple, Maple Rapids, MI 48853. Douglas G. Hull
Douglas G. Hull, died March 18, 2010, at the age of 72. Born in Lansing, on February 22, 1938, the son of Lewie and Mildred (Graham) Hull. Doug worked as a carpenter in construction and was a Veteran of the U.S. Navy.
He is survived by his former wife and best friend, Betty Hull, children, Brenda (Cliff Jones) Hull of Grand Ledge, Lisa Hull, Lewie (Michele) Hull and Candy (Mycheal) Lugibihl all of St. Johns, eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sisters, Mary and Arlene Hull, two sister in laws, two brother in laws and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, and two brothers, Richard and William.
Funeral Services will be 10:30 a.m., Monday, March 22, 2010, at Osgood Funeral Home, 104 E. Cass St., St. Johns, with Pastor Cayle Beagle officiating, burial to follow at Duplain Cemetery. The family will receive friends at the funeral home, 6-8 Sat. and 2-4 and 6-8 Sunday. Memorials may be made in memory of Doug to American Diabetes Assoc. or Clinton Co. Veterans Memorial.
