A St. Johns man and native of this area who has been associated with the Federal-Mogul division here since 1954 is the new foreman of the bushing department at the local plant.
Announcement of the promotion of Ace Linman, 30, was made this week by Kermit Hart, F-M plant manager in St. Johns.
Linman is a graduate of the Elsie high school and joined Federal-Mogul on Dec. 13, 1954, after a two-year hitch with the US Army. He started as a machine operator and subsequently served as a set-up man and group leader.
He and his wife, Dora Mae, live at 403 E. Gibbs Street in St. Johns.
