Meet Norm Nethaway, French Horn Player

Norm Nethaway was born in Owosso. He graduated from Ovid-Elsie High School in 1992. College came at MSU from 1992-94, followed by Columbia College in Chicago in 1998. He is presently attending Baker College from 2007 to present.

Norm’s hobbies include reading, sewing, spending time with family and being a “domestic engineer”.

What he likes best about the band is “the people, for sure. It’s a relaxed atmosphere with people who really want to play. I’ve made many new friends since joining the band. I also feel Mr. Davis is an outstanding director. He takes time from his hectic schedule to direct a Community Band and teaches us. I learn something new every practice that I attend.”
