Dave Link was born in Mt. Clemens and graduated from Brandon High School in Ortonville
in 1978. After that he graduated from Eastern Michigan University in 1982.
Dave’s musical experience is vast being a trombone player for 7 years and Drum Major
for two years. While in college, he was in the EMU marching band and Drum Major for two
years. His hobbies include sports, movies, and helping with the St Johns Music Program.
Dave and his wife, Eunice, have 4 children Meghan, Justin, Molly and Tessa. All play
several different instruments. Dave says what he likes about the band is that it is fun.
"I enjoyed band in school, but there was the pressure of grades and tryouts along
with band festivals," he says. "This is just the fun without the pressure.
"The members are great to be with, and I have made some wonderful friends since we
started."
Dave also is a Roy Davis fan since 2003. Thanks Dave, for your time and interest in our
