Sewer Treatment Plant being upgraded

For those of us who wondered how the increase in our water/sewer bill was being spent, we are now seeing it first hand.

This is the sewer bypass on the very end of N. Oakland St. that will reroute the sewer line past the ongoing work at the entrance of the DPW and then back to the treatment plant again at a different location.

Heavy equipment is exposing the infrastructure so improvements can be made.

Relining some of the older deteriorating pipes will insure trouble-free sewer service for a long time.
