Meet a newer player, Dave Walling

Dave Walling was born in St. Johns and is a trumpet player in the St. Johns Community Band. He graduated from Rodney B. Wilson High School in 1967. He attended college from 1967-1970.

Dave started band in grade school and continued through high school. He played one year in the MSU marching band and has played in various bands, mostly Lil Frankies Band from 1971 to the early 90’s. Dave also played on three school albums including MSU and one with Lil Frankies Band.

His hobbies are rock collecting.

What he likes best about the band is that he is invloved with music once again.
