The Mysterious Case of the Missing Ring will be presented by Gateway Fifth Graders on Friday, March 13th at 7 pm in the Gateway Commons. This is a comedy/mystery loosely based on literary characters we know from children’s mysteries.
Come and enjoy the hard work they have been doing after school and see if you can solve the mystery.
Tuesday, Feb. 24th Gateway and Big Boy of St. Johns teamed up to have a Celebrity Server Night. The celebrity servers volunteered their evening to help raise money for Relay for Life.
Big Boy of St. Johns, under the ownership of Dave Hunt, helped the cause by donating 10 % of the profits for the day and all the tips gathered by the celebrity servers that evening.
A great deal of fun was had by all in raising money to help find a cure for cancer. Thanks to all who took part.
April Wilson, our PTO president has been selected as the first recipient of the St. Johns Public Schools Volunteer Award. April has helped bring some fresh new ideas to our school with her interest in trying to involve our families more.
We have had movie night, craft night, and are currently planning a family reading carnival night for the end of March.
We are pleased to have such a dedicated volunteer as April in our school. Congratulations, April.
