On Saturday, May 2 the Clinton County Chamber of Commerce will hold its 6th Annual Home and Business Show and Touch a Truck. Participating in the show will be crafters with homemade items and baked goods, home based businesses such as Avon, Creative Memories and Tastefully Simple Gourmet Foods and store front businesses such as Wal-Mart, Citizens Bank and Smith Pedal and Ski Shop. Over 50 crafters and businesses will be represented at the show.
The show will be located in the CC RESA Building across from McDonalds in St. Johns and it will run from 9 am to 3 pm. Goodie bags will be given out to the first 50 people in the door at 9 am and then at 1 pm an additional 50 goodie bags will be given out. Attendees can register to win a $100 Chamber Buck Gift Certificate by visiting each of the business booths inside the building and getting the vendors to sign a guest card.
Plan to spend part of your time at the show in the parking lot. There will be police cars, fire trucks, ambulances and even a helicopter. Kids of all ages can check out these very cool vehicles. Everyone can also try their luck at Laser Tag or have fun on Inflatables. And inside the building there will be free crafts for kids.
Lunch of Sloppy Joes and Nachos will be available from the Clinton County Senior Center inside the RESA Building, along with popcorn from the Chamber.
