Bob Lawrence worked on the newest parts washer at Federal-Mogul at that time that used a detergent in place of Trichloroethylene as a degreaser. Federal-Mogul spent a ton of money trying to comply with this country’s environmental policies.

I’m not sure whatever the detergent available was all that good for the environment either but it was certainly an improvement.

I’m always fond of mentioning relatives who also worked there and Bob had a few. His wife, Angie, uncles Gary and Yogi Lawrence, and Angie’s dad and uncle, Bill and Art Aldrich.

You have to believe I missed a few.
