The Mint Country Garden Club presented Hazel I. Findlay Manor residents with the gift of a Douglas Thayer sculpture Wednesday evening.
The sculpture can be seen at the Hazel I. Findlay Manor in the East Garden.
The Mint Country Garden Club was formed in 1990 with Mary Feldpausch as its first president. Mary continues to be an active member. Other community projects include the courtyard gardens at HIFM and the raised planters at Mt. Rest Cemetery.
The Garden Club meets the first Thursday of each month at 7:15 in the Community Room at Clinton Commons. All meetings are open to anyone interested in gardening.
