I have no idea who these two women are, but I do know they’re running a tin plater. The woman on the right has a stack of upper rod bearings in her left hand. She’s loading them on the pins in the plating arms with her right hand.
Why do I think they’re upper rod bearings? Because uppers have an oil hole needed to load them on pins, and the lowers don’t. The lower bearings were plated in another plater using magnetic racks.
This plater was removed a couple of years ago. I’m guessing they were required to tear up the floor and remove any contaminated dirt underneath.
