Lynne Annette Buggs
Lynne Annette Buggs passed away on May 31, 2009 at the age of 50. Lynne was born November 18, 1958 in St. Johns, Michigan the daughter of Gerald and Mary Ellen (Gannon) Buggs. She was a member of St. John Student Center in East Lansing and was a home health nurse for many years.
Lynne is survived by her son Dylan Smith, mother Mary Ellen Buggs; seven sisters and brothers, Karen (Bill) Pioszak, Joyce (Bob) Sherwood, Jean Buggs, Mary Anne (James) Marshall, Rick Buggs, Joe Buggs and Tim (Mary) Gannon. Lynne is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Buggs.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, June 9 at the St. John’s Student Center 327 M.A.C., East Lansing with Rev. Fr. Mark Inglot officiating. The family will receive friends at 10:00 a.m. before the Mass at the church. The family is being served by the Osgood Funeral Homes. Memorial contributions may be made to St. John’s Student Parish.

Evelyn M. Kellogg
Evelyn M. Kellogg – Age 96, of Corunna, formerly of Ovid, passed away Wednesday, May 27th at Ovid Healthcare Center.
Funeral services will be held at 11 AM Saturday, May 30th at Hillcrest Mausoleum Chapel with Rev. Chuck Emmert, Duplain Church of Christ, officiating. Interment will follow at Hillcrest Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be at Hillcrest Mausoleum Chapel on Friday from 4 PM to 8 PM and also Saturday from 10 AM until service.
Evelyn was born January 7, 1913, in Sciota Township, the daughter of Henry C. and Eva (Gute) Otto. She graduated from Ovid High School. She married Chester Kellogg in Owosso on June 20, 1931. Mr. Kellogg preceded her in death in 1975. Mrs. Kellogg was a member of Duplain Church of Christ. She was employed as a LPN at Ovid Convalescent, now Ovid Healthcare Center, for 30 years, retiring at the age of 70. As a resident herself these past few years, she continued to show the care and concern for the other residents she was so used to giving. Evelyn enjoyed working outside and she regularly walked 3 miles a day. She also found the time to make over 200 quilts.
Surviving her are her son, Gerald (Colleen) Kellogg of Corunna; four grandchildren, Terry (Jerilynn) Kellogg, Kristi Billis, Wendy (Guy) Hubbard and John (Li Luy) Kellogg; 10 great grandchildren; and 2 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Gayle Kellogg and granddaughter, Heather Rae Kellogg.
