Downtown St. Johns is holding its annual Sidewalk Sales Days on July 23, 24, and 25, 2009. Vendors will be downtown throughout each day from morning until early evening, with special late hours on Thursday and Friday night. On Saturday, July 25, the Farmer’s Market will be operating from 8:00 a.m. until noon on Maple Street (west side of the Courthouse) and offers home-made and home-grown goods from local vendors.
The St. Johns Downtown Management Board is looking for retail vendors interested in selling collectibles, home-based businesses, antiques, baked goods, clothing, jewelry, arts and crafts for this year’s Summer Sidewalk Sales Days. All vendors are welcome to participate. Cost to register for all three days is $25. Non-profit organizations and churches may also participate at no cost. Contact event coordinator, Bob Rehmann, at (989) 224-2139 or the Downtown Management Board at (989) 227-1717 to reserve your space.
Vendors needing tables or chairs can rent those from Dershey’s Café: $8 per table, 60 cents per chair (price includes delivery and pick-up and is for the entire three days). There are also canopies available for $65-$110 depending on the size you need, as well as outdoor signs. Call Roger at (989) 640-1313 for details.
Come beat the summer heat by cashing in on super savings at the annual Sidewalk Sales Days in historic Downtown St. Johns.
