I’m hoping this group of guys are local dignitaries, and that someone will recognize them. Otherwise they’re either from corporate headquarters or visiting customers on a tour of the plant.

The only one I recognize is plant manager, Bill Robertson, on the right. He’s the one who had fun shooting the Federal-Mogul Centennial cannon during St. Johns’ 1956 Centennial and Fowler’s 1957 Centennial parades. Everything I’ve heard from people tells me that Bill was a great guy. Unfortunately, I never knew him.

This photo was taken outside the old office entrance before the 1964/1965 addition was built.
