Why is this photo in the Federal-Mogul Album? Because behind the popcorn wagon are four past employees of F-M.
From left to right: L. C. Kindel, Jerry Myers, Gerald Diehm, and facing us from behind the center of the popcorn wagon, Paul Roof.
This photo was taken at one of the earlier Mint Festivals when it was still held on the courthouse square. In the foreground is the antique popcorn wagon belonging to the late Jerry Irrer and his wife. Shown (to the right of the machine) operating it is their son, Bill Irrer. Mrs. Irrer still owns the wagon.
In the background is the old county jail which was torn down and paved over for the new courthouse parking lot.
