With summer leaving pre-emptive holidays in its wake, the Clinton County Arts Council Gallery monthly feature, “First Sunday” returns to the first Sunday. October’s date is Sunday the 4th, and the featured artist is Marilyn Fitzpatrick.
Ms Fitzpatrick works for the most part with watercolors, capturing colorful floral settings and striking landscapes inspired by the beauty of her home state, Michigan. She will discuss her work from 1 p.m. to 3 p.m. during the open house.
Along with October’s featured artist, other attractions of the day include traditional open house activities along with refreshments and attractions at the Railroad Museum. The Railroad Museum will also be open from 1-3 p.m. The Gallery’s October open house is sponsored by Citizens Bank.
