October is National Breast Cancer Awareness Month, and Karen Gillespie is ready for it. This year she has purchased pink t-shirts, polo shirts and sweatshirts and decorated them with Swavorski crystals in the shape of a pink ribbon that symbolizes the cause. Karen glued each crystal by hand, and so far she’s sold 80 shirts.
Karen said that Creative Inks & Thread was a big help to her.

She has purchased calendar planners, key chains, letter openers, tote bags, pink bracelets and Hanover Chocolate mint candies.

She is also thinking about a bake sale with the bake goods decorated in pink. Sales of tickets for drawings are planned, and one of them will be for a Pandora bracelet with a cancer ribbon charm from Always Charming.
All of these items can be purchased from Karen at the City offices in the Clinton County Courthouse. Donations are also welcomed.
