Book and Gift Fair
Friday, Nov. 6

Books Unlimited presents a Book and Gift Fair sponsored by the Carson City Hospital Auxiliary on Friday, Nov. 6, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Conference Rooms at Carson City Hospital. This one-day sale offers the opportunity to save up to 70% off the retail price on a variety of books and gifts, including Michigan titles. Cash, checks and credit cards are accepted.

Pharmaceutical Take-Back Program
Monday, Nov. 9 – Friday, Nov. 13

The Carson Apothecary Shoppe, located inside Carson City Hospital, will be offering a pharmaceutical take-back program the week of Nov. 9 through Nov. 13. Bring in your expired or discontinued medications – the Apothecary Shoppe will dispose of them for you and you will also receive a FREE reusable tote bag for your efforts. Brown Bag Lecture Series: “Diabetes … Breaking the Myths” with Nancy Seals, R.N., B.S.N.:

As part of the Carson City Hospital Brown Bag Lecture Series, Registered Nurse Nancy Seals will set the record straight on what it means to live with diabetes during her presentation on Thursday, Nov. 19, from 11:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A certified diabetes instructor, Nancy is a lively and engaging speaker. She encourages you to bring your questions – from complicated issues to simple questions such as ‘can I eat potatoes?’ – to this informative presentation. The session is free and open to the public.
