Barry Bauer’s photo project

Ginger Castillo was a tool engineer at Federal-Mogul. She was involved in designing dies for the Bihler presses and worked closely with Les Warner on solving problems in the Bihler operation. The Bihlers use a cam method of forming bushings instead of relying solely on brute force.
Ginger took a buyout at the end of 2005, but I understand she’s working part-time on second shift for Federal-Mogul. It is quite common in the industry today to bring back a “retired” salary employee as a contract employee. Modern day accounting says this is a cheaper way of doing business.
