Sparrow Hospice celebrates loved ones

For many the change of seasons and advent of autumn provides a time of reflection and remembrance. Sparrow Hospice Services – Hospice of Clinton County offers two memorial events for the remembrance of loved ones on Thursday, Nov. 5.

The first program, Help for the Holidays, takes place at 6 p.m. in the White Conference Room, 3rd floor, in Clinton Memorial Hospital. The holidays are always a challenging time for grieving families. Sparrow Hospice Services can offer suggestions on how to care for yourself and your family during this difficult time.

The second program, Gathering to Remember – Memorial Service, is celebrated at 7:15 p.m. by the Hospice Tree on the corner of Oakland and Sturgis streets in front of the hospital The names of loved ones who have died since October 2008 will be read and candles will be lit to honor them.

Please RSVP before Nov. 1 by calling 517.364.7208. Leave your name, the name of your loved one and the number family members who plan to attend each event. These events are offered to the community free of charge.
