MMDHD H1N1 clinic schedule

The Mid-Michigan District Health Department (MMDHD) has announced its H1N1 vaccination clinic schedule for the week of October 26, 2009.

The health department has an ample supply of flu mist (nasal spray) and a limited supply of the shot. The shot will be reserved for pregnant women and those who cannot receive the flu mist because of certain health issues. The flu mist can only be given to those 2 to 49 years of age who are not pregnant and do not have chronic health problems such as asthma or heart disease. Vaccinations will be offered as long as supplies last, there is no cost to receive the vaccine and no appointment is necessary.

The current H1N1 vaccination clinic schedule is as follows:

Clinton County
This clinic is open to residents of Clinton, Gratiot and Montcalm Counties in the following target groups:
 Pregnant women
 Household members who live with or care for infants six months and younger
 Children ages 6 months to 4 years
 Children and adolescents 5-18 years with medical conditions that put them at higher risk for flu-related complications

Thursday October 29, 2009

This clinic is open to residents of Clinton, Gratiot and Montcalm Counties in the following target groups:
