Sheriff’s investigation ongoing

The Clinton County Sheriff’s Office has been conducting an ongoing investigation resulting in the execution of a search warrant on Church Road for methamphetamine manufacturing and components.

Six people have been arrested on drug-related charges ranging from possession and manufacturing of rnethampbetamines to possession of heroin and ecstasy.

Outstanding warrants still exist for 4 other persons wanted in connection with this investigation.

lnformation obtained during this investigation led to additional search warrant executions in Ionia Connty resulting in several additional arrests on related drug and weapons charges, and the discovery of a methamphetamine lab.

Persons arrested in this investigation have also been linked to area home invasions and credit card frauds with additional charges pending.
