The husband of former long-time Carson City Hospital employee and current Carson City Comptroller Bonnie Schafer (Daryl Schafer) passed away unexpectedly on Oct. 17.
There will be a benefit for the family on Saturday, Nov. 7, at St. Mary’s Hall in Carson City. Doors open at 5 p.m., the event officially begins at 6 p.m. The $10 ticket includes a turkey dinner, live entertainment, a live auction, 50/50 raffle and a silent auction.
