Robert Seals, D.O., has been named Medical Director of Carson City Hospital (CCH). Dr. Seals has served the community as a CCH specialist in internal medicine since 1990.
“We’re very pleased to have Dr. Seals providing management and leadership to our excellent staff of physicians here at Carson City Hospital,” said Bruce L. Traverse, FACHE, CCH President and CEO. “Personally, Dr. Seals and I have worked together for almost 20 years. He is a caring and an extremely knowledgeable physician, and for many years has contributed a strong, intelligent voice to our physician executive committee.”
Dr. Seals has also joined the CCH Board of Directors, where he will work with fellow board members Dr. James Banner, Mark Brett, Patrick E. Burns, Debby Cassady, Roderick Coy, Jae Evans, Dr. Jason Hall, Tom MacDonald, Tom Ostrander, Gary Reetz, Dr. Rex A. Rimmel, Bruce L. Traverse, and Brent Wilson to guide the mission and vision of the hospital and its service network of physician clinics.
Board-certified in both internal medicine and geriatric medicine, Dr. Seals graduated from Alma College in 1982 and the Kirksville College of Osteopathic Medicine in 1986. He completed his internship at Carson City Hospital in 1987 before finishing his residency in internal medicine at Metropolitan Hospital in Grand Rapids in 1990.
Dr. Seals lives in Carson City with his wife of 20 years, Nancy, and their three children – Ashley, Adam and Allison. His practice is located at 245 S. Second St. in Carson City and can be reached at 989-584-3832.
