
Doug Wooley worked in the painting department at Federal-Mogul. He was also one of the earlier UAW elected officials that helped get the representation of the hourly employees by the UAW underway.
Doug is one of the guys responsible for the restoration of the Centennial Bastille. He did what he could to get that orange paint covered with wrought iron black. I think he did a good job. The Bastille has been a hit this past weekend.
Doug recently retired after working at F-M since December, 1977.
