The Clinton County Progressive farmers and MSU Extension are bringing Edward Usset to St. Johns to discuss pre-harvest marketing strategies.
Usset serves as a Grain Marketing Specialist for the Center for Farm Financial Management at the University of Minnesota, and the coordinator of the Minnesota Master Marketer Program. You may have read his articles in “Corn and Soybean Digest” , taken his marketing quiz in “Back to School with Ed Usset” or seen his book “Marketing is Simple – it’s just not easy”.
Working with his colleagues, Usset has helped develop the award winning workshop series “Winning the Game”. He will share with Mid-Michigan Farmers his Celebrity Squares Search of a Pre-Harvest Advantage workshop where we will learn several different approaches to pre-harvest marketing.
Join the Progressive Farmers, February 18 from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Smith Hall on the Clinton County Fairgrounds in St. Johns. Usset’s approach makes marketing understandable and the simulation game allows you to test your newly learned marketing skills.
Please RSVP to Clinton County MSU Extension 989-224-5240 by February 11.
