St. Joe names new principal

Chris Wells

[Parents of students at St. Joseph School have received the following message from the new principal.]

I am honored to serve as your principal and to work with your family this upcoming year. I feel truly blessed with this opportunity to serve God and the parish community.

It is my goal, coupled with the efforts of the staff to continue to provide an excellent education for your student that is equally rooted in academics and Christian Catholic values.

As you are aware, our school is exceptional! We have an incredible staff focused on the well being of your student, supportive in fostering a quality education. It is this combination of staff, students, and family sanctified by God, which makes for greatness. Furthermore, I am grateful to be part of the St. Joseph family.

The staff and parish community have been welcoming and supportive alongside Mrs. Tomi Ann Schultheiss who has been a great source of knowledge and inspiration. I am confident that this transition will be seamless and transparent so that we can maintain a proper perspective of educating students.

Moreover, I am filled with enthusiasm taking on this new challenge. My experience in education for over 20 years has helped me prepare for this moment, united with the blessings of God; this will truly be an exciting journey. It is my hope that we can share in creating memories that will leave a lasting impression on our parish family for years to follow.

Lastly, I ask that you continue to pray for the staff and students as we prepare for a productive year in learning; one that is balanced in academics, faith, and service. Our staff is committed to serving our parish family and the greater community of St. Johns. This will be an amazing year at St. Joseph!

Thank you for your support and God bless,
Chris Wells
