Community Christian Church (400 E. State Street, St. Johns) invites the public to join them for Fun in the Son at the St. Johns City Park Performance Shell on Sunday, August 26, 2012, beginning at 6:00 p.m. for a concert event.

The event is free and features a concert by Christian contemporary band, “Resident Truth.” The band is led by accomplished guitarist, John Quigley, and includes local musicians: Jim Keating (keyboard), Nolan McCausey (Keyboard), Mike Robertson (Bass guitar), Jim Rossman (drums), Sue Patrick and Bethany Warnke (vocals). Goodie bags will be given to guests. Bring your lawn chair or blanket.

The event theme, “Dare You to Move,” seeks to inspire concert goers who are not happy with the direction of their life right now to do something about it. In addition to the concert, Sue Patrick and Craig Smith will share their testimonies of the difference God makes in their life. Pastor Tyler Barlage will share a brief message encouraging listeners to make positive choices in their life by being spiritually intentional.
